2018 Top Popcorn Seller

In a time when unit and council fundraising is more important than ever, some scouts’ sales really pop!  Dylan Donatoni of Eastvale Pack 2017 worked over 160 hours at the storefronts to sell $25,172 in popcorn this year.  Dylan loves the sales process and has learned a lot selling popcorn.  He says that he loves meeting and speaking with new people and that he takes pride in knowing that his sales help to pay for the programs that council provides.  Dylan’s Webelos patrol is highly motivated and has produced three of the top six popcorn sellers for each of the last two years.  This year, they worked together to sell over $65,000 in popcorn!  He says teamwork is the most important lesson in scouting, and he looks forward to next year.

Message from our Membership Team

Help us make 2019 a truly HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Thank you to our Renewing and New Scouts and Scouters!

We did an outstanding job in 2018. We are serving more Cub Scouts than we did last year, and it is because of the steadfast efforts and focus of this entire council. Thank you all for caring about our future youth. The Boy Scout of America’s values, mission and goals rank supreme.

As we look to the coming year, the California Inland Empire Council’s outreach will continue to grow by bringing more Cub Scouts and Scouts into schools and neighborhoods, and more leaders back to our events to witness amazing programs and take advantage of lifelong learning opportunities.

From our Camp Emerson projects for involved youth and our exciting foundational lessons at University of Scouting to our residence NOVA/STEM programs. I truly believe our council will engage with families, inspire individuals, and contribute to the vibrancy of our region. Plus, we’ll continue to build reasonable capacity in our Cub Scout units and support to develop this world-class youth program as we reinvigorate SCOUTS, BSA with young ladies this February!

With you, we can make it happen!

We invite you to join us both inside and outside the walls of our council in 2019. Make new connections and strengthen old ones. Let’s build community together.
