Order of the Arrow Cahuilla Lodge Advisor

The California Inland Empire Council would like to announce and congratulate the Cahuilla Lodge new Lodge Advisor Mr. Jorge De La Torre.

My name is Jorge De La Torre and I am the proud Dad of 3 Boy Scouts. I joined the Scouting family back in 2007 when my oldest son joined Cub Scouts. Since then I have been privileged to be able to enjoy scouting along with my family (yes, we are a family of Scouters!) and have had the opportunity to serve as a volunteer in different roles.

I have served as Assistant Den Leader, Assistant Cub Master, and Assistant Scout Master. I have also served as Camping Chair in the Old Baldy District where I assisted with running camps such as Webelosree, Day Camp and Camporee.

Also, I am a Vigil member in the Order of the Arrow and have served as Chapter Adviser and Lodge Adviser to the 1st Vice. I believe in cheerful service and am excited to continue serving the youth as the new Cahuilla Lodge Adviser. I believe in the scouting program and in what it offers to the youth.
