| | Citizenship in Society | | | The Citizenship in Society merit badge, the newest merit badge for youth in the Scouts BSA program (ages 11-17). This new merit badge encourages Scouts to explore important topics around diversity, equity, inclusion and ethical leadership and learn why these qualities are important in society and in Scouting. Beginning July 1, 2022, the Citizenship in Society merit badge will be required for any youth seeking to achieve the prestigious Eagle Scout rank. This is a reminder that starting July 1, 2022, Scouts who have not completed all requirements for Eagle (except the Eagle Board of Review) will need to include Citizenship in Society as an Eagle required merit badge. | | | Wood Badge | | To register or learn about Wood Badge CLICK HERE | | Popcorn | | | POPCORN TRAINING DATES! | Tuesday June 7th, 6:30pm at Dave & Busters in Ontario Register Here | Saturday June 11th, 9:30am at United Methodist Church in Murrietta Register Here | | | Welding Merit Badge | | Alexa, a Tenderfoot Rank from Troop 46G in Hemet earning her Welding Merit Badge. Other than one missed turn (Scoutmaster’s fault) the trip was enjoyed by all. Overnighted at Stonehouse Campsite with no tents just tarp shelters and hammocks. Saturday was foggy all day, but the Sun showed up on Sunday. Skills worked on were filtering water, backpacking cooking, shelters, hanging bear bags, Leave No Trace and lots of hiking. Great job scouts! | | A Concert for Heroes | | | | Golf Classic | | | Cartoon Corner | | | Thoughts from the Council: | | | | | The purpose of Monday Memo is to communicate information about the week ahead, to acknowledge the good things happening around the Council.
