Jordan has been in Scouts almost literally since the day he was born! With a dad and 3 uncles who were all Eagle Scouts, it was only a matter of time before Jordan and his brothers all began their own Scouting journeys. Along with his twin brother, Jordan started as a Tiger Cub in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and was later a founding member of Troop 82 in Waukesha, Wisconsin. He attended his very first week-long summer camp with Troop 82 at Lefeber Northwoods Camp. Jordan later joined Troop 208 after his family moved to Spokane, WA. It was in Spokane that Jordan first got a taste of summer camp staff, serving with his brother as a Counselor-in-Training at Camp Easton in the Inland Northwest Council. Jordan continued to serve on staff from 2004-2014, primarily as a counselor and later Area Director for the First-Year-Camper program. Jordan also spent time as an Assistant Commissioner and Scoutcraft (Outdoor Skills) Area Director. After graduating college, Jordan continued to stay involved in Scouting, including volunteering to staff a week at Eagle River Scout Camp, just outside Juneau, Alaska. Camp was Jordan’s favorite experience in Scouts. With over 10 years of summer camp and camp staff experience, Jordan is excited to return to camp this summer as Camp Director for Camp Emerson! |
