About Dr. Edward Boseker

Dr. Edward Boseker and his wife Yvonne have been honored for their generosity to Scouting in the Inland Empire by adding the name of Boseker Scout Reservation to the Camp Emerson/Camp Brown property located in Idyllwild, CA.

Camp Emerson dates back 94 years. Camp Brown was donated in the 1960s to the Riverside County Council as an additional 100 acres of property adjacent to the original Camp Emerson. Today, Camp Brown is the location of the E-Team high adventure activities during the summer camp season.

Now, Boseker Scout Reservation will be the home of Camp Emerson and Camp Brown.

Boseker, a noted Orange County orthopaedic surgeon, donated many acres of investment real estate located near Temecula, CA to the Council.

The California Inland Empire Council is indebted to the Boseker Family for their generous contribution in the interest of the community and its young people. Their gift will benefit generations of families to come, and they will be remembered in perpetuity as the name Boseker Scout Reservation becomes known for its year-round camping program and its wonderful facilities.
