➢ Outdoor Ethics Orientation (Available with both trainings): An introduce to Outdoor Ethics in a fun and engaging way. It should help youth and adults at all program levels understand the general principles behind Scouting's outdoor ethics program and how to earn the Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award.
➢ A) Outdoor Ethics Guide: This youth leadership position of responsibility qualifies as a leadership position for upper ranks. It is also designed to give youth and their advisors the confidence and tools to teach and assess skills when signing off on rank or award requirements.
➢ B) BSA Leave No Trace 101: This 4-hour class is designed to help youth and adults at all program levels to understand the general principles of Leave No Trace and how to apply them in the BSA outdoor program. It is also designed to give adults the confidence to assess youth understanding and skills when signing off on scout rank requirements or Venturing award requirements.
➢ Learn how to also earn the Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award
Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award
Scouts/Scouters interested in earning the Outdoor Ethics Awareness Award. Please complete requirements 2,3,4 prior to the course. E-mail or screen shot the certificates to your instructor.
The requirements are as follows:
1. Recite from memory and explain the meaning of the Outdoor Code.

5. Participate in an outdoor ethics course, workshop, or training activity facilitated by a person who has completed the BSA outdoor ethics orientation course or is a BSA outdoor ethics trainer or master. Outdoor Ethics Orientation Counts!
