OLD BALDY DISTRICT

INTRODUCTION TO OUTDOOR LEADERSHIP SKILLS

Registration: No registration at the door.
Applies to: Scouters desiring to safely take their scouts on an overnighter
Objective: Teaches basic and practical skills needed for Boy Scout Leaders to implement a safe and fun outdoor program in their units.

Prerequisite:

Attending "Orientation Meeting".

SM / ASM Leader Specific Training should be taken in conjunction with the IOLS course for Boy Scout Leaders.  If you do NOT have your Youth Protection Guideline Training already done you must complete it prior to the course.  This is a weekend camping training course.  Participants will need to supply their own camping gear and some food.  This course is needed to obtain complete certification to take your scouts on an overnighter.

Leave No Trace

Medical Requirements: Good physical shape.
