Hello Scouters!

If you have ever heard of this training called NYLT or National Youth Leadership Training and wondered what it was, now is your chance to find out! We will be finishing the second summer session of NYLT at Adventure Weekend and you're invited to join us. If you would like to find out more about what it is, what the sessions consist of, and demystify the magic surrounding the language of leadership within the Boy Scouts of America, come join us for a session or two and find out what your youth are learning about Communicating, and Finding Their Vision, as well as how to run a model Unit meeting. Or if you have never had a youth attend NYLT before, come by to join us and see how their attending advanced leadership training within the Council can benefit them, your Unit, and the World Brotherhood of Scouting.

Wood Badge

The fall course of Wood Badge for the California Inland Empire Council took place this weekend at Camp Emerson/Boseker Scout Reservation. Leaders from all over the council, and as far away as Las Vegas came together to learn valuable ways to to improve their leadership skills through servant leadership and to bring out the best in the youth that we serve, while still having fun.

We invite all of you who have not yet had the opportunity to improve your “game” and

“are in it for the youth” to mark your calendars now for next year‘s Woodbadge courses.

If you have any  ever thought about being on staff please contact Ray Norris at
