Calling all Scouts and Scouters! Let's Show We Care!

With the ‘We Care!’ program being so successful in getting cards out to seniors, we are going to start phase 3 and create ‘THANK YOU’ cards for essential workers/first responders/hospital staff/etc - on behalf of CIEC.

For those that participated in Day Camp, one of the projects was the Care Cards as the community service project - scouts can send those cards to me to add to our distribution which will satisfy their service to others.

Please have your Scout(s) make a total of 5 (or more) cards each from regular paper, construction paper, colored paper, card stock etc. Have them write an encouraging message of thanks, draw pictures....anything that is uplifting and will bring cheer to our workers that need it most during this trying time.

When cards are completed, they can be sent to me directly or a pickup can be arranged. All cards collected will be distributed to essential businesses, first responders and the like as they come in. Please make this a priority so we can get the cards out there to those in need...

All Scouts that participate in this special project will receive a patch from me directly to show my appreciation for their dedication to help others.

There will be no deadline but the sooner we get the cards in hand, the sooner they can be received at their destinations.

Send to: Heidi Battaglia, 12890 Bootridge Lane, Victorville, CA 92392
