Venturing Rendezvous

Registration is now open for Venturing Rendezvous on Saturday, December 5 at Camp Emerson. Rendezvous will be a one day event this year, and will include .22 rifle shooting, tomahawk throwing, climbing the new climbing tower and more.  All Scouts and Venturers are welcome whether registered as a Venturer or not.  Come see what Venturing has to offer.

The cost for either youth or adult participants is $20, which includes all activities, lunch (a Covid safe sack lunch) and a patch. There is also a discounted "Adult / Non-participant" rate of $10, which includes lunch and a patch (but not the activities).

We anticipate that Regional and National Venturing Officers will be attending, so you can meet our youth venturing leaders.

All State and Riverside County Covid-19 protocols will be enforced:  masks are required, we will organize in groups of 12 or fewer and maintain social distancing.  All attendees will need BSA Medical Forms Part A and B, and the appropriate youth or adult waivers.

Did you know… Under the 2020 CARES Act, Section 2205, there is a charitable giving incentive? Individuals who do not itemize deductions can deduct up to $300 per taxpayer in annual cash charitable contributions as a new above-the-line deduction. This deduction is allowed in addition to the standard deduction allowable to those taxpayers. Individuals who itemize deductions on their personal income tax return can deduct qualified cash charitable donations limited to 100% of their adjusted gross income (AGI).
The California Inland Empire Council is a qualified 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization and Friends of Scouting Donations are qualified charitable donations. All donations raised stay within the California Inland Empire Council and support Scouting locally.

Female Eagle Scout credentials

The window for Eagle boards of review of the Inaugural Class of Female Eagle Scouts is from October 1, 2020 to February 8, 2021. As such, all Eagle Scout credentials will be dated February 8, 2021 so that we commemorate this milestone alongside the recognized “birthday” of the Boy Scouts of America.?

Please note, as a Council we will be distributing Eagle Scout credentials beginning February 8th, 2021 from the Council office if we have received them from national by that date.  We appreciate everyone’s patience and also congratulate all of the work our Inaugural Class of Female Eagle Scouts has done to be a part of such a historic event.
