2021 University of Scouting

University of Scouting is February 27th Save the Date!

??CIEC is proud to present the first EVER Quest for University of Scouting!
??Starting January 15th, there will be a daily post on our U of S Facebook page with information on how to rack up points and participate in our exciting Quest by taking pictures of the world around you. All of this while staying safe and having fun with your family.
Let’s answer those questions!??
1 – What do we get by earning points? ??
Each week, we will have a leader board with the top 3 participants. Each will get a prize!
At the end of the 5-week event, there will be 3 Grand Prize Winners for the top overall participants!
2 – How do we earn points? ??
There are SEVERAL ways to earn points!!
• Each day, you can post a picture for a “base” 10 points. You can find those on the calendar below. But, when we post each day, we will add a bonus 5 points if you enhance your picture by doing something extra!
• If you post a picture every day of the 7-day period, you get an extra 50 points for 100% participation
• If at any point during the 5-week event, you pledge or donate to the 2021 Friends of Scouting campaign, you will get AN EXTRA 100 POINTS!!!!
• During the event, each week will have points to register for University of Scouting. The sooner you register, the more points you get! Easy-peasy.
3 – What are the rules? ??
• Each picture must be shared publicly to your own personal profile.
• Each picture must be posted using the hashtag #CIECQuest4UofS
• In order to prove the photo was taken specifically for this challenge, the words “2021 University of Scouting” MUST be visible within your photo! You can hold up a paper with the words printed on it or get creative! As long as we can read it, it counts!
• You may not post pictures of children who are not yours.
??IMPORTANT??: If these rules are not followed, your picture will not be counted for points.

2020 Top Popcorn Sellers

To be a Council Top Popcorn Seller Scouts had to sell over $3000 in popcorn in 2020!

Being a popcorn Top Popcorn Seller is no easy feat to accomplish. The pandemic has made it even more challenging.

Due to the pandemic and current situations we were not able to hold our annual Spin & Win celebration.

However we still wanted to recognize the 28 Scouts from our Council who reached this awesome achievement!

Each one received an Amazon gift card in recognition of their awesome job selling.

Below are our Council's top 2 selling Scouts
